What the say about it -

Fed up of fly-aways? Toni & Guys Stick it up Gum holds and controls for a gravity defying high shine finish.

£7.20 for 90ml. From www.boots.com

What I think of it -

To be honest it is no use to me, I have long thick hair so  I did even try it. I instantly gave to my parents & Brother who all have short hair.

Marks -

7/10 - Only because my family think it is brilliant. It's a great product but no use to me.

Eldora - Eyelashes

What they say about it-

Every cosmetic connoisseur will adore these simple and beautiful, high quality lashes by Edora. Their extensive range means there's a style to suit everyone.

Cost? -

£3.90 from eldorashop.co.uk

What I think of it -

I never use eyelashes, ever, but I will give these a go but I've not used them yet. I did like that it came with glue. Also they are re-usable which I love. :)

Marks-

Well I can't really rate this as I've not used it yet. But they look well made so I'll give them a 7/10. But I will re-review this later on after using them :)

Ciate London Paint Pot -Raspberry Collins

What they say about it -

Do you want stunning sophisticated looking nails? Look no further than a Ciate Paint Pot. These loving chosen and high performance formulas provide you with an effortless nail colour.

Cost?

£9 for a full bottle from ciate.co.uk

What I think about it?

I love these nail polishes! Yes they are expensive but they are amazing colours and last for so long! I cannot say enough good things about these! They have such lovely bottles and you only need one coat. They are just amazing.

Marks-

10/10- I just really love this product!

Nougat London - Sparkling Body Shimmer

What they say about it -

Add a bit of radiance to your skincare regime with Sparkling Body Shimmer. This mallow extract, vitamin E and wheatgerm enriched oil will leave your skin luxuriously perfumed with a hint of sparkle.

Cost-

£14 for 250ml at www.nougatlondon.co.uk

What I think about it

Again I've not tried this yet. It looks very pretty and girly but the packaging isn't great and looks cheap for how expensive the product is. To be honest it looks like something I'd find in Poundland. But as I said I've not used it so can't really comment on it too much.

Marks-
5/10 - Poor Packaging but it does smell nice and looks lovely.

Maybelline New York Master Kajal Liner

What they say about it -

Master the art of seductive eyes and inner line intensity in one easy stroke with Maybelline's Master Kajal cream-stick liner

Cost?

£5.99 at www.boots.co.uk

What I think about it-

I love this so much! This is my favorite product I received. It is brilliantly made and so easy to use. I love eyeliner but I am so picky and use a different eyeliner each time. This is my new favorite eyeliner.

Marks-

10/10 - Most definitely going to buy once this runs out!

Review overall-

Once more I know I complained about various products but I do love trying out new stuff and I have found a few new favorites products and also we got a Lindt chocolate in the box for Valentines day. One of the bests boxes I've got! :)

10/10!

September Glossybox 2013 Review

September Glossybox 2013 Review

What I received  & What I thought of it-

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eye Liner

This was one of my favorite products I received this month. It is an easy to use eyeliner that I wear on a day to day basis. The only issue I have is that you cannot buy it in the UK. (or not that I've found yet and I mean online) On the Glossybox website they list it at costing £9 which is pretty good. It lasts a reasonable length of time but you do need to put quite a bit on to make it last. Over all I'd give it a 9/10

Elizabeth Arden UNTOLD

To be completely honest I hadn't really heard of this brand until now but I do love perfume. I really did like this and loved the bottle (I'm a sucker for a cute bottle) but to be brutely honest it's not really any different to most expensive perfumes out there, it's priced at £48. Still I did enjoy it and my mum went mad for it. So I'd give it a 7/10.

Rimmel London Stay Blushed Blusher

Rimmel London is a brand I use all the time so I wasn't too happy to find this in my box as I'd prefer to try new brands as to ones I use on a day to day basis. Still It was a product I'd not heard of before and was eager to try it. Liquid make-up is not something I find easy to control anyway so liquid blusher did not work out well for me.  I didn't like the colour as it was too childish and bright for me. But for people who like this type of thing it would be perfect. It worked well enough and lasted longer than powdered blush but just wasn't my thing. It's around £6-7 in  most shops. I'd give it at 6/10.

Toni & Guy Classic Shine & Gloss Serum

Toni & Guy is a well liked brand so I was more than happy to try this product out! I'm not one for using hair products like this as I have a sensitive scalp and don't like risking flaring it up. At first I really liked this product, it feels nice and is so easy to use but as time went on it just gave my hair a greasy look. It works fantastic in my brothers & mums hair so I  think it's just me. It's priced around £7 and for a small bottle I think that is steep. But it would last a long time I guess. I'd give it 4/10 as it just didn't work in my hair.

Eylure Pre-glued Lashes

I was over the moon to get these! I'd always wanted to try eyelashes butt didn't want to fork out for them in case they were useless. They are just over £5 in most shops. I waited until Halloween to use them and although they were easy enough to get on in the right place they didn't stick! I was really disappointed in this as they looked really good. For that reason I'm giving them 2/10

Review overall-

Despite marking and complaining about the products quite a lot I loved trying out new stuff, even if they didn't always suit me. I've since got another box and I will do a review on that in time. But I really do recommend you to try at least one box. For £12 it's worth a shot!!

9.5/10

H Samuel Personalized Necklace Review

                                                                   H Samuel Website

                                                       Personalized Ruby Necklace

Quality-   The quality of this necklace is very high, it isn't flimsy and doesn't look easily breakable. The stones are less obviously round as in the computers picture. But overall it's very well made.

Colour- This is my only big problem. The picture given on their website is obviously very red but the actually very pink! Here is a picture to show you -(excuse the picture it's taken on my phone.)

Price- On the website the necklace is on the personalized section as they are made to order and you pick the month's birthstone you wish so each birthstone is different. But for July it costs about £52. (No P&P)

Delivery time-  This is another snag as they are made to order you can expect to wait up to a month for your necklace to arrive. Plus please note unless your necklace is damaged or  not what you ordered they are not returnable as they are from the personalized section.

Delivery Quality -I was not impressed with how the choice to deliver it. Basically it was flung through my letter box by the royal mail. Since it was costly I expected a lot more and for it to be signed for.

Size- It's a lot bigger than I expected as normally when you order something online, more so with jewelery, it's completely tiny. So I was quite happy with he size. Here's another photo to show it's size-

Chain Style & Quality- It's quite strong but delicate. There is a choice of various styles and lengths when you buy the necklace all for various prices.

Overall-  all in all I really do like this necklace but due to the colour issues and delivery issues I'd only give this a 6/10.

divaderme lash extender Review

                                                                                    divaderme Website

What is it?
It is just what it sounds like. It's a bottle of lashes to extend your own without having to go through the fuss of glue on lashes and it's great if you're allergic to glue on ones.

How do you use it and is it easy?
It is SO easy! Basically all you do is put on your mascara like normal (one eye at a time) and then put on the lash extender then mascara once more and that is it!

How much is it and where can I get it?
It is £15 odd on their website (link at the top of the page) but also sold on Amazon for various prices.

Is it worth it?
Yes! I have tiny lashes and no about of mascara has ever made them any better but this lash extender is amazing and around the price of a really good mascara anyway. I totally recommend it!

Marks out of 10?
10! No issue! I can find no faults with it at all! I really can't rave about this enough.

Before and after using it -
Here is a bad photo, sorry, of my lashes before and after. Please note I was using a very old mascara which they do not recommend. :)

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask :) xx

GlossyBox!

                                                                 GlossyBox Website

Hey guys! I'm back again so soon!  I wanted to talk about the amazing Glossy Boxes since they will most likely feature on this blog every month! But before mine arrives I wanted to tell you a bit about them. Firstly they are not that expensive, collective cheer! Anyway heres all you need to know.

What are they?

Glossybox is described on their website as -

That is a pretty simple and straight to the point explanation. Basically every month you get a themed box, this month is London as seen in the photo at the top of the post, with 5 beauty products tailored to you. Once you've purchased one there is a few questions all about what you like and your skin and hair so they know what you'd prefer. Here's an example of one of the products featured -

2-in-1 Shadow/Liner

There is everything from Make-up to skincare to perfume featured in these boxes and each box is always worth a lot more than what you paid. For example that eyeliner pictured above costs more than one GlossyBox and that is just one product!

Cost

There is a few plans to choose from when buying them. Them monthly plan which is £10, before P&P, and you just cancel it whenever you want. Then you have the 3 month plan which is £30, before P&P and you get 3 months of boxes and once it's up it's up. Then the 6 month plan  which costs £50, before P&P, and you get one box for free and lastly the yearly plan which costs £100, before P&P, and you get 2 boxes for free.

I have skin Condition though?

Last time I posted this elsewhere that question popped up but rest assured they do ask if you have any skin/scalp problems so you can receive products to help or that wouldn't irritate it further.

Further  Benefits - (taken from the website)
