September Glossybox 2013 Review

September Glossybox 2013 Review

What I received  & What I thought of it-

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Onyx Eye Liner

This was one of my favorite products I received this month. It is an easy to use eyeliner that I wear on a day to day basis. The only issue I have is that you cannot buy it in the UK. (or not that I've found yet and I mean online) On the Glossybox website they list it at costing £9 which is pretty good. It lasts a reasonable length of time but you do need to put quite a bit on to make it last. Over all I'd give it a 9/10

Elizabeth Arden UNTOLD

To be completely honest I hadn't really heard of this brand until now but I do love perfume. I really did like this and loved the bottle (I'm a sucker for a cute bottle) but to be brutely honest it's not really any different to most expensive perfumes out there, it's priced at £48. Still I did enjoy it and my mum went mad for it. So I'd give it a 7/10.

Rimmel London Stay Blushed Blusher

Rimmel London is a brand I use all the time so I wasn't too happy to find this in my box as I'd prefer to try new brands as to ones I use on a day to day basis. Still It was a product I'd not heard of before and was eager to try it. Liquid make-up is not something I find easy to control anyway so liquid blusher did not work out well for me.  I didn't like the colour as it was too childish and bright for me. But for people who like this type of thing it would be perfect. It worked well enough and lasted longer than powdered blush but just wasn't my thing. It's around £6-7 in  most shops. I'd give it at 6/10.

Toni & Guy Classic Shine & Gloss Serum

Toni & Guy is a well liked brand so I was more than happy to try this product out! I'm not one for using hair products like this as I have a sensitive scalp and don't like risking flaring it up. At first I really liked this product, it feels nice and is so easy to use but as time went on it just gave my hair a greasy look. It works fantastic in my brothers & mums hair so I  think it's just me. It's priced around £7 and for a small bottle I think that is steep. But it would last a long time I guess. I'd give it 4/10 as it just didn't work in my hair.

Eylure Pre-glued Lashes

I was over the moon to get these! I'd always wanted to try eyelashes butt didn't want to fork out for them in case they were useless. They are just over £5 in most shops. I waited until Halloween to use them and although they were easy enough to get on in the right place they didn't stick! I was really disappointed in this as they looked really good. For that reason I'm giving them 2/10

Review overall-

Despite marking and complaining about the products quite a lot I loved trying out new stuff, even if they didn't always suit me. I've since got another box and I will do a review on that in time. But I really do recommend you to try at least one box. For £12 it's worth a shot!!
